The Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) on May 08, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Removal of Minimum Distance Requirement between Tyre Pyrolysis Units and Revision of Consent Processing Norms
The following has been stated namely: -
• The State Board’s earlier Office Order prescribed that a minimum aerial distance of 500 meters must be maintained between two tyre pyrolysis units.
• The State Board reviewed and modified this requirement. The condition mandating a 500-meter minimum distance between two tyre pyrolysis units has now been completely omitted.
• All pending and new Consent to Establish applications for continuous tyre pyrolysis units will now be processed without considering this distance restriction.
This is effective from May 08, 2026.
